A professional dog trainer can get results that you would struggle to achieve on your own.
A dog can bring great joy to the life of you and your family. The companionship and adoration that a well-behaved dog adds to your household is priceless. Note the important word in that sentence, however: “well-behaved”. Most dogs have a keen desire to please their family, but ideal behavior can sometimes be trumped by other character traits. Dogs love to run, chew, bark, and jump as much as they enjoy cuddling and protecting their family. Sometimes you might need a helping hand to get your dog properly trained, and that is where a professional dog trainer comes in.
At Sublime K9 Training & Boarding, we help families in the Knoxville, Tennessee area that want to have better relationships with their dogs. We will help you and your dog understand each other better, as communication is key. A dog cannot please you if they are confused about what it takes to make you happy. By devoting full attention to training your dog, we can get results that you would struggle to achieve on your own.
"10+ stars!"
"Sublime K9 Training & Boarding gets 10+ stars! They helped us with puppy training for our large Bernedoodle. She just finished the 3-week board and train, and it helped tremendously. Before, walking her was a workout! Lots of pulling, even to the ground because she is so strong. Now she walks calmly beside me! I definitely recommend them!"

HIDDEN
What does dog training include?
To teach your dog certain behaviors and skills, we work with them to understand the basics first, such as “sit” and “stay,” then move on to more complex skills. We also work with them on behavioral issues to help them understand what behavior is and isn’t accepted.
Do you have different dog training options?
We do. We offer a variety of options so that you can find the one that works best for you. One of our most popular options is the board and train program. When enrolling in this option, your dog will stay with us for a specific amount of time for comprehensive training.
How much time does training a dog take?
The length of training varies according to the age, breed, temperament, and particular behaviors that the dog needs to learn. When you contact our team, we’ll explore your dog’s needs and give you a better estimate of the time training may take.
What qualifications do you have to be a dog trainer?
We have two full-time trainers who are both Certified Dog Obedience Instructors. They received their training through Animal Behavior College. Additionally, our owner was a K9 officer for six years as well as a trainer at the zoo.
Is training limited to puppies, or can older dogs also learn?
Yes, it is possible to train older dogs. Adult dogs can learn new behaviors and can gain a lot from training, even though puppies may learn quicker and have fewer ingrained habits to break.
At Sublime K9 Training & Boarding, our dog trainers help dogs from Jefferson City, Baneberry, Knoxville, New Market, White Pine, Dandridge, Newport, Sevierville, Seymour, and Morristown, Tennessee.
