HIDDEN
What core services do you offer?

Our team provides comprehensive professional services to help you and your dog live happy, well-adjusted lives together. Our primary services include dog and puppy training, dog boarding, and grooming services.

What qualifications do your trainers have?

All of our trainers are certified through the Animal Behavior College and have also attended specialized training seminars to help enhance their skills. We take pride in providing modern, caring training that helps your dog live their best life.

How is your training approach unique?

Our program utilizes all 4 quadrants of learning, providing a balanced and effective training experience. We place heavy emphasis on engagement, which helps your dog stay focused on you no matter where you go. We specifically teach structured relaxation, which helps prevent anxiety both at home and out in the world.

Is there ongoing support available once we’ve completed the training program?

Absolutely. Our team provides lifetime support for our clients – once you’ve completed the program, you’ll be invited to join our Facebook support group, where you can ask questions, get guidance, and find other helpful information to help the training stick. We also offer a “free lessons for life” policy, which means that if you ever need refresher courses to review and maintain behaviors, you can get them free of charge.

Are the training programs the same for every dog?

No. We understand that every dog is unique, so each dog that participates in our training program gets an individualized training plan that is tailored to their specific needs, age, and behavioral level.

What types of training programs do you offer?

We have multiple options to help you find the right fit for your lifestyle, dog, and needs. Our board and train is our most popular program, but we also offer private one-on-one lessons, day training, and in-home training.

What is the puppy headstart program?

This is intended for puppies between 9 weeks and 5 months old, and you can select how many weeks you want your puppy to participate. While the program does not deliver a “fully finished” dog, it does get them started on the right path by helping build foundational skills. Topics covered include starting the following skills: crate training, potty training, early socialization, and basic obedience fundamentals.

Do you use e-collars?

Yes, we use e-collars as a key communication tool for the dogs in our program. These collars do not deliver a static shock – they deliver a mild stimulation that redirects your dog’s focus, allowing us to communicate clearly and give a firm but gentle guiding hand. It is entirely pain-free and safe for your dog.

Are there specialized training programs for advanced or hobby skills?

Yes! We offer a number of group training programs for owners who want to further their dogs’ skills. Popular options include our puppy socialization classes, advanced Canine Good Citizen (CGC) classes, tricks classes, and high-energy agility classes.

Why should I consider one-on-one training over group classes?

Group classes are great for many dogs, but for those who are easily distracted or require more individualized attention than a group setting can provide, we recommend one-on-one classes. These private lessons are focused entirely on your dog and their unique needs, and we can schedule them around your personal availability for better, faster results.

Can you help address over-anxious behavior or difficulty settling down?

Yes, this is one of our specialties. Our trainers have undergone extensive training to help dogs who exhibit anxious behaviors and can help them learn how to regulate, relax, and adapt to structure.

What medical requirements does your boarding service have?

Before your dog can stay with us at our boarding facility, they must be completely up-to-date on all necessary vaccinations and have flea and tick prevention. Our staff will need copies of this information upon arrival for your dog’s stay.

Can your team administer medication if my dog is boarding with you?

Yes. Any medication must be provided to the staff along with detailed instructions regarding administration. Our team will ensure your dog gets the required health care during their stay.

Can I bring comfort items for my dog during their stay?

Absolutely. We encourage owners to bring items that will help their dog feel safe and comfortable. Items we encourage include their own bedding, favorite toys, treats, and an item of your clothing that carries your scent to help them feel more at ease.

What information will I need to leave with you when I drop off my dog?

We require emergency contact information, including your direct contact information, backup numbers in case you’re not reachable, and the contact information for your veterinarian. Please also inform us of any special medical conditions or known behavioral concerns prior to dropping your dog off.

What do your grooming services include?

Our grooming services cover all the essentials to help your dog look and feel their best. Services include bathing, nail trimming, haircuts, brushing, and ear cleaning.
