Talyn is a passionate dog trainer with over 10 years of hand-on experience in everything from basic obedience training and therapy / service dog training to temperament testing and more!
Talyn began her dog training career in 2015 doing basic obedience training and quickly learned that she had a natural talent in this field. Eager to learn more, Talyn enrolled in Catch Dog Training Academy where she earned several certifications and endorsements in K9 training and behavior. Leaning into her passion to serve her community with trained rescue dogs, Talyn found a discrepancy in the way her K9 clients and her human clients were able to communicate with one another, so she dedicated herself once again to obtaining certifications to support her craft, this time in human behavior as well! Earning a Registered Behavior Technician certification, Talyn was able to develop a more well-balanced approach to how she serves both her human and her K9 clients. Outside of training, Talyn has also tried her hand in K9 competitions, ultimately winning Best in Show at a local AKC competition event.
Today, Talyn can be found hanging out with her 6-year-old daughter Keyona and her fur-son, an American Bully. When not with her babies, Talyn enjoys reading fantasy novels and studying the latest dog training and / or behavior tips and tricks in order to serve her clients the best way she can!
